It is called the nemesis system a system that tracks your interactions with ogres you interact with, an orge kills you, and that ogre becomes a captain you run into that captain orge to get revenge they remember killing you and start smack-talking you to their followers, you kill that captain and some others.
The special part about this game is its enemy NPCs and the system that dictates how they act. All that I just described is not what makes this game awesome. As it is an RPG you will gain levels and unlock new skills as Torian grows stronger you find yourself having an easier time overall. As you progress through the game, you will find various collectibles, secret door codes, powerups, etc. But that said let's get down to the nitty-gritty details. Another title worth getting I assure you.
